Connelly moves to CAA

By Leslie Simmons

Feb 8, 2008, ET

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Connelly has signed with CAA. Connelly moved to the Century City agency after her former agent, Risa Shapiro, left ICM to form a yet-to-be-named management company with Melanie Greene. Shapiro will now manage Connelly, who is working on two films: a remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with Keanu Reeves for Fox, and Focus Features' animated postapocalyptic nightmare "9" with Elijah Wood.

Connelly recently wrapped "He's Just Not That Into You," a film adaptation of the best-seller by Greg Behrendt, produced by Drew Barrymore's Flower Films for New Line. In 2002, Connelly earned numerous awards, including an Oscar, Golden Globe and British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award, for her role in "A Beautiful Mind." Her credits also include "Little Children" and "Blood Diamond."
