Alec Baldwin has returned to CAA, which has re-signed the actor for
representation in all areas. The actor parted ways with the agency
in late April after a voice-mail tirade he left for his young
daughter was released to the media. Baldwin is in the middle of a
custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger, who also is repped by the
agency. Basinger also being housed at CAA was rumored to have been
a factor in his leaving. A spokesman provided a quote on behalf of
Baldwin, which read: "I could not imagine being represented by
anyone other than Matt Del Piano." Baldwin has been a roll
acting-wise, with his performance on NBC's "30 Rock" and films like
the Oscar-winning "The Departed" garnering praise.
