Monkey biz: 'Chimps' lands deal with Dole


June 26, 2007 In a deal with producers Starz Media and Vanguard Animation and Film, Dole Food Co. will place 100 million collectable stickers of characters from the animated sci-fi comedy "Space Chimps" on its bananas. With a Dole SuperKids Web site presence and in-store "Chimps" circulars and displays, the producers claim it is "one of the largest promotions of its kind involving fresh fruit and a feature film."
