Stiller waters run 'Deep' for Dreamworks

June 20, 2007 DreamWorks and Red Hour are teaming on the comedy "In Deep" as a potential starring vehicle for Ben Stiller. Steve Conrad ("The Pursuit of Happyness") has been tapped to do a Page One rewrite/reconceive of Beckerman's screenplay, which chronicles the nightmarish tale of a man who fights a parking ticket and becomes increasingly enmeshed in criminal allegations. Beckerman's screenplay had been in development in the late 1980s at Management Company Entertainment Group, which filed for bankruptcy in 1990.
