The action title stared down last week's triple threat, Warner's "Watchman," which slipped to No. 2 on Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert overall sales and Blu-ray Disc sales charts and on Home Media Magazine's rental chart. "Fast & Furious," which earned $155 million at the boxoffice, reunited stars from 2001's "The Fast and the Furious," including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriquez. Evidently, buyers were in the mood to reminisce. The original film with the trio returned to the sales chart at No. 10. The franchise also included the 2003 sequel "2 Fast 2 Furious," which returned to the sales chart at No. 14, and the 2006 installment, "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," which hit No. 12 on the sales chart for the week. Meanwhile, on the heels of the fanboy confab San Diego Comic-Con International, Warners lit up consumers with the animated, direct-to-video, comic-based title "Green Lantern: First Flight," which debuted just behind Univeral's "Coraline" on the overall sales chart at No. 4 and came in at No. 5 on the Blu-ray sales chart. Other sales-chart newcomers included Fox's "Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.5" (No. 5), Fox's "Dragonball Evolution" (No. 7), Season 1 of Fox's "Dollhouse" (No. 9) and BBC's "Torchwood: Children of Earth," the third season of the "Doctor Who" spinoff (No. 15). Newcomers to the rental chart included Starz/Anchor Bay's thriller "Streets of Blood" (No. 11), starring Val Kilmer, 50 Cent and Sharon Stone, and Genius' "The Killing Room" (No. 15), with Timothy Hutton and Chloe Sevigny.
