IFC, Kino nab two Toronto selections


August 28, 2008 Indie distributors IFC Films and Kino International have snapped up two upcoming Toronto International Film Festival titles with World War II themes. IFC nabbed U.S. rights to Ole Christian Madsen's "Flame & Citron," which has its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival this weekend, followed by a Toronto fest screening Sept. 6. Kino has picked up domestic rights to Israeli helmer Amos Gitai's "One Day You'll Understand," a Berlin International Film Festival premiere that has its North American debut Thursday in Toronto.
