Melissa Leo among Method honorees


April 03, 2008 Melissa Leo won the Geraldine Page Award for best actress for her work in "Lullaby" and Richard Jenkins took the John Garfield Award for best actor for "The Visitor" at the 10th annual Method Fest's awards ceremony Thursday in Calabasas, Calif. Leo also was honored with the fest's Maverick Award, while Jenkins was recognized with a career achievement award. The City of Calabasas Jury Award for best picture went to Peter Duncan's "Unfinished Sky" as the prizes were handed out at the Viewpoint School's Carlson Family Theatre.
