LONDON -- Tom DiCillo's documentary about rock band The Doors, "When You're Strange" will waltz into cinemas across the U.K. in 2010 after The Works U.K. Distribution snapped up all British rights to the picture.

The doc is due to unspool during this year's Times BFI London Film Festival with Doors drummer John Densmore expected to attend.

The deal was sealed by Works U.K. Distribution managing director Mick Southworth and director of marketing Laurence Gornall, and president of ContentFilm International Jamie Carmichael.

Narrated by Johnny Depp, "When You're Strange" uncovers historic, previously unseen footage from the rock quartet and provides new insight into the impact of their music and legacy.
