HBO's 'Kittredge' casting for pre-teen actress


May 04, 2007 Producer HBO Films and distributor Picturehouse are holding open casting calls for eight-to-12-year-old actresses to appear opposite Abigail Breslin in "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery." Breslin, an Oscar nominee for "Little Miss Sunshine," plays the clever Depression-era title character, adapted from the American Girl book series.
