Jay A. Fernandez joins THR


May 11, 2008 Jay A. Fernandez, who has written the Los Angeles Times' weekly Scriptland column about screenwriters since September 2006, has joined The Hollywood Reporter as a film reporter, editor Elizabeth Guider said. Fernandez will cover the major studios, write breaking news and feature stories and report to film editor Gregg Kilday. A native of Philadelphia, he also served as an associate producer on "The Dialogue," a DVD series of in-depth interviews with Hollywood's most successful screenwriters.
