LONDON -- Film financier and producer Future Films is hooking up with U.S. producer Mark Williams' Zero Gravity Management to develop a management structure for writing and directing talent, the parties said Tuesday.

Future Films CEO Stephen Margolis said the joint venture would aim to become "a haven for talent to thrive and develop in tune with the current trends in the independent film market."

Managed on a day-to-day basis by Future Films' production and development chief Carola Ash in London and Zero Gravity Management president Eric Williams in Los Angeles, the joint venture will aim to build on the ability of both companies to move projects from development into production.

Williams said: "Having a management arm in Europe with help us discover the talent and help the talent find us. Teaming up with Future Films is a natural progression of an on-going, successful relationship."

Zero Gravity Management clients include directors Andrzej Bartkowiak ("Romeo Must Die"), Prachya Pinkaew ("Ong Bak"), Mans Marlind & Bjorn Stein ("Shelter") and Simon Fellows ("Malice In Wonderland").

Future Films is currently expanding its operations while prepping for its launch onto the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) later this year.
