Lakeshore maximizes film distributionJan 18, 2008, ET
TORONTO -- Canadian distributor Maximum Film Distribution will
release Lakeshore Entertainment titles in Canada as part of a new
output deal unveiled Thursday.
The two-year deal will see Toronto-based Maximum acquire all Canadian rights to Lakeshore titles, beginning with the Luke Wilson starrer "Henry Poole Is Here," which will bow in Sundance. Other Lakeshore titles to be handled by Maximum include Isabel Coixet's "Elegy," which stars Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz, and the Milo Ventimiglia starrer "Pathology." The output deal was brokered by Mark Musselman for Maximum and David Dinerstein and Eric Reid for Lakeshore.
