Theatrical execs might exit HBO

June 04, 2008 HBO Films is in discussions with Maud Nadler and Julie Goldstein, two of its senior executives who concentrated on theatricals, about their future with the banner. [...] the execs soon might depart as the company moves away from the theatrical business, a process begun last year when HBO Films began unwinding its relationship with now-defunct specialty division Picturehouse. Nadler has been involved with many of the banner's theatrical hits, including "Maria Full of Grace" and "American Splendor"; Miramax alumna Goldstein was hired in early 2007 to beef up HBO's theatrical development.
