Tribeca awards underrepresented filmmakers


April 25, 2008 The Tribeca Film Festival and sister nonprofit Tribeca Film Institute presented six filmmakers from underrepresented communities with the Tribeca All Access Creative Promise Awards Friday. Gemma Cubero and Celeste Carrasco won the docu section work-in-progress "She Wants to Be A Matador," and Anslem Richardson won the screenwriting prize for the car-crash drama "Bardos."
