Foster has rights to bear Zacco's 'Arms'
July 31, 2008 The novel is part of a trilogy about the ancient Egyptian pharaohs and focuses on Nefertiti, the consort of Akhenaton, the first royal to espouse belief in a single god. The deal marks a first such foreign foray for Foster's Warp Films, which most recently released "Street Kings" starring Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker, and which is prepping the Film Department film "Law Abiding Citizen" with Gerard Butler. The project was brought to Warp by Stefano Gallini-Durante, a producer who reps a number of Italian book titles for English-language adaptation.
