Reitman, Carrey team for 'Pierre'

March 06, 2008 Jason Reitman and Jim Carrey are teaming up to develop a comedy titled "Pierre Pierre" for Fox Atomic. Reitman is attached to direct the project, which will be produced by his Hard C partner Dan Dubiecki along with Escape Artists' Todd Black and Jason Blumenthal. Written by Edwin Cannistraci and Frederick Seton, the politically incorrect story, dealing with racism, sexism and Europeans, centers on a self-indulgent French nihilist (Carrey) who is entrusted to transport a stolen Mona Lisa and in the process falls back in love with his homeland.
