NEW YORK -- New production and management outfit New School Media
has optioned Chuck Palahniuk's novel "Haunted," a tale of writers
imprisoned at a retreat and forced to write about their dire
predicament.
Belgian helmer Koen Mortier ("Ex-Drummer") is attached to adapt the 2005 novel and direct. The Hollywood-based New School, recently founded by ex-ICM literary agent Brian Levy, reps several of his earlier clients and has a first-look pact with film financier ArtFire Films.
