Regency makes visit to 'Candy' land


October 02, 2007 The production company has acquired the rights to best-selling author Brandon Mull's latest, "The Candy Shop War." The project is the latest in Regency's focus on films that have youth appeal but can play to all audiences. Upcoming projects for Fox and Regency include the comedy "Pets," produced by Ben Stiller's Red Hour Films and directed by James Gunn, and the robot action-adventure "Voltron," with Mark Gordon producing and Justin Marks writing the screenplay.
