Robin Williams is getting on one knee for "Wedding Banned," a romantic comedy for Touchstone.

The project, being produced by Mandeville's David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, has no director attached. Nicole Rocklin and Blye Faust are also producing.

"Banned" centers on a long-divorced couple who kidnap their daughter on her wedding day to prevent her from making the same mistakes they did. The divorced parents rekindle their relationship as they elude cops and the angry groom.

Jack Amiel and Michael Begler wrote the script.

Kristin Burr is overseeing for Touchstone.

Williams' deal returns him into the studio's fold; he stars opposite John Travolta in this November's comedy "Old Dogs." Other recent credits include the indie movies "Shrink" and "World's Greatest Dad."

Williams is repped by CAA and MBST Entertainment.
