IFP sets slate, date, board for mentor lab

June 12, 2007 The lab will move from September (the month of the IFP Market and Filmmaker's Conference) to June to give filmmakers and mentors more postproduction time before winter and spring festival submission deadlines. Among those leading filmmaker lab workshops are composer Mychael Danna; editors Sabine Hoffmann and Kate Williams; film execs Sarah Lash, Dana O'Keefe and Melissa Raddatz; MPAA independent film liaison Scott Young; and journalist Brian Brooks. IFP managing director of programming Amy Dotson, Forensic Films' Scott Macaulay and HDNet Films and Deutsch Open City Films' Gretchen McGowan selected the lineup and will lead the program and serve as mentors.
