Pair 'College' bound for Disney

Martin Lawrence is teaming with Raven-Symone to go on a "College Road Trip" for Walt Disney Pictures. Roger Kumble is directing the comedy, being produced by Andrew Gunn and his Gunn Films shingle.

The story centers on a young woman with ambitious public-defender dreams who goes on a road trip to visit potential universities with her father, an overprotective cop.

Cinco Paul and partner Ken Daurio wrote the most recent draft. The movie was born out of the Disney Writers Program by Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki.

"College" is looking at late June or early July start date in the Northeast.

Kristin Burr and LouAnne Brickhouse are overseeing for Disney.

Gunn Films' Ann Marie Sanderlin is exec producing.

Disney-based Gunn Films is casting "Bedtime Stories," being directed by Adam Shankman.

Lawrence is starring Disney's surprise hit "Wild Hogs." He also is in production on "The Better Man," being produced by Stuber/Parent at Universal. He is exec producing "Martin Lawrence Presents: The First Amendment Stand-up" for the Starz Network.

Lawrence is repped by UTA, the Collective and attorney Lawrence Rose.

Kumble most recently directed New Line Cinema's "Just Friends," starring Ryan Reynolds. He also wrote and directed "Cruel Intentions." Kumble is repped by UTA and attorney David Weber.

Raven-Symone is repped by Endeavor, manager Jessica Samuel of Sanders/Armstrong and attorney P.J. Shapiro of Ziffren Brittenham.
