Elizabeth Banks has joined Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott in Universal's untitled mentor project that David Wain is directing.

Mary Parent, Scott Stuber and Luke Greenfield are producing.

The project, which was titled "Big Brothers" and "Little Big Men," follows a pair of party-hearty energy-drink salesmen forced into the roles of big brothers to fulfill a community-service obligation who end up bonding with their assigned kids.

Banks is playing Rudd's girlfriend who persuades him to join the program.

Wain, Rudd and Ken Marino wrote the script.

Becky Sloviter is overseeing for Stuber/Parent, while Scott Bernstein oversees for Universal.

Shooting is under way.

Banks next appears in Warner Bros.' Vince Vaughn starrer "Fred Claus," recently wrapped "Starship Dave" and has "Definitely, Maybe" with Ryan Reynolds in the can. She is repped by UTA and Untitled.
