Lori Gottlieb work optioned by Warners

April 08, 2008 Gottlieb, a single mother who conceived her child with donor sperm, suggested in her piece that settling probably will make a woman happier in the long run because many of those who marry with high expectations become more disillusioned with each passing year. Since hitting newsstands in the March issue, "Marry Him!" has garnered much attention, and Gottlieb -- an NPR commentator and best-selling author of the memoir "Stick Figure: A Diary of My Former Self" -- found herself on TV's "Today" and "The Colbert Report," on radio's "Talk of the Nation" and "The Tom Leykis Show" and in print in the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe and Wall Street Journal. Mark Ross is overseeing for Maguire Entertainment; creative executive Richard Goldhe is overseeing for WIP.
