COLOGNE, Germany -- Two key executives at Scandinavian production giant Metronome Film & Television have jumped ship following the company's acquisition by Elisabeth Murdoch's Shine Group.

Metronome COO and executive vp Michael Porseryd and vp development Johan Westman have resigned from the company, which operates 15 production divisions across the Nordic region and in the U.S.

Shine Group picked up Metronome in an $88 million deal in April, part of Murdoch's global land grab that has seen the group expand across three continents.

Earlier this month, Shine set up a French operation, run by ex-Endemol France chief creative officer Thierry Lachkar.

Shine now runs 24 companies, including Shine Reveille in the U.S.
