Arclight Films International has acquired Conquistador Worldwide Media. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

With the move, Conquistador founder Pascal Borno becomes Arclight's president of sales and acquisitions.

At Conquistador, Borno has handled international sales for recent films like director Werner Herzog's "Rescue Dawn" as well as "Nine Lives" and "One Last Dance."

Arclight incorporates the labels Darclight Films, its genre division, and Easternlight Films, which is devoted to Asian cinema.

Arclight's "Surveillance" is an out of competition selection at the upcoming Festival de Cannes.
