'Bourne' in on action with 'Potter'

It was Jason vs. Harry on DVD last week, and the showdown between
Universal Studios Home Entertainment's "The Bourne Ultimatum" and
Warner Home Video's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"
ended in a split decision.
The latest Potter movie was the top DVD seller for the week ending Dec. 16, according to Nielsen VideoScan First Alert data, outselling "Bourne" and fellow new release "High School Musical 2," from Disney.
But the third Jason Bourne actioner won in the rental arena, capturing the top spot on Home Media Magazine's rental chart with estimated revenue of $15.4 million, compared with $12.3 million for "Potter," which entered the chart at No. 2.
Combined, the two films grossed more than half a billion dollars in theaters. "Bourne" earned $227 million, while "Potter" collected $292 million.
The previous week's top seller, Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," slipped to No. 4 but maintained steady sales action, selling only about 10% fewer copies than the third-ranked "HSM 2."
The same was true of other high-profile theatrical movies released to video in the fourth quarter. "Shrek the Third," "Ratatouille," "Transformers" and "Spider-Man 3" all remain in the First Alert top 15, racking up unit sales in the six digits for the week.
On the HD DVD chart, "Bourne" outsold "Potter" by a margin of nearly 2-to-1. On the Blu-ray Disc chart, "Pirates" remained in the top sales spot for the second week, with newcomer "Potter" debuting at No. 2.
