It was Black Friday at A&E Television Networks where 100 employees, 10% of the company's workforce, were layed off. A spokesman for AETN confirmed the number of layoffs and their direct correlation to the August merger between AETN and Lifetime Entertainment Services. The cuts were made across all divisions, with Lifetime particularly affected.
