Harold Gefsky, theatrical agent, dies


July 01, 2008 Gefsky, a former vp at APA, represented such clients as actors Dyan Cannon, Linda Evans, Sharon Tate, Veronica Hamel, Troy Donahue, Gary Merrill, Simon Oakland, Richard Beymer, Robert Clary and Ed Nelson. In 1983, he was honored by the Association of Talent Agents with its career achievement award. The native of Youngstown, Ohio, served on the ATA board of directors and was a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
