Par planning trip to 'Dubai'
June 25, 2007 Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing through his Paramount-based shingle, and Eric Bana is executive producing as a potential starring vehicle. Set in the very exotic world of Dubai, the story is an action-thriller about a young American economist who gets caught up in a highly coordinated international attack on the U.S. economy. Di Bonaventura has become Paramount's go-to producer, with several projects in various stages of development, production and postproduction for the studio, including the Eddie Murphy starrer "Nowhereland" and Matthew Vaughn's epic fantasy "Stardust."
