Fox's 'Walorsky' pilot pushedComedy unable to meet cast contingencyFeb 25, 2009, 11:14 PM ET
Fox's comedy pilot "Walorsky" has been pushed to June after
difficulties casting the lead.
The project, from 20th and American Work, is in the tone of "Bad Santa" and revolves around an ex-cop-turned-security guard who patrols a mall in Buffalo. His life is centered on Buffalo sports and doing the least amount of work possible. But when he is assigned a young idiot partner, he is forced to grudgingly get involved with the people whom he is assigned to protect. "Walorsky" is the fourth pilot to be rolled this pilot season. CBS' drama "Confessions of a Contractor" and two ABC comedies -- single-camera "Funny in Farsi" and "Planet Lucy" -- were put on hold last week after failing to meet their contingencies.
