BANGKOK, Thailand -- Director Ekachai Uekrongtham will debut "The Coffin," a Thai-Hong Kong-Singapore co-production this month at Cannes' Marche du Film, the world's largest film market.

The English-language horror pic features award-winning Hong Kong actress Karen Mok ("Shaolin Soccer") and Laotian-Australian actor Ananda Everingham, the lead in the original Thai version of "Shutter."

"Coffin" is a co-production between Thai companies Live Inc. and NGR, Hong Kong's Global Entertainment Group and Singapore's Scorpio East Pictures.
