TORONTO -- Canadian producer 9 Story Entertainment has presold the live-action TV movie "Harriet the Spy" to Disney Channel, it was announced Sunday. The movie, based on the classic kids book series by Louise Fitzhugh, will bow worldwide on Disney Channels, a co-producer with 9 Story Entertainment. Nancy Steingard and Wendy Moss-Klein will executive produce. And rival Canadian indie producer Shaftesbury Films has sold the kids series "Connor Undercover" to ABC TV Australia and Daro for Eastern Europe and English-speaking Africa. "Connor Undercover" is a half-hour, action-comedy series about a teenage spy buff, and is co-produced by Shaftesbury Films and Heroic Film Company.
