ABC, CBS battle Thursday; 'Smallville' soars


January 20, 2007 Crime Scene Investigation. ABC won the first two hours of the night in total viewers and adults 18-49 demographic, according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research. At 9 p.m. "Grey's Anatomy" (21.9 million, 8.7/20) turned in an above-average performance on the heels of its Golden Globe award win for best TV drama series.
