STAR TV takes '5th Grader' for India


February 13, 2008 Produced by Synergy Adlabs, whose credits include the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire," "Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?" will be hosted by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and offer the winning contestant $1.3 million. The rights for India were handled by Bulldog Media & Entertainment, a company that specializes in the worldwide acquisition and development of intellectual property rights in the television market. Said Mumbai-based STAR India CEO Uday Shankar: We are fortunate that the country has always given the mandate of taking television to the next level to STAR TV.
