Trump gets a day job in syndication
October 23, 2007 Twentieth Television is expected to announce a deal with Reveille Prods. and Trump Prods. to produce a syndicated show starring the financial guru, sources close to the negotiations said. Sources said the project is a unique hybrid -- describing it as "Dr. Phil" meets "Judge Judy" -- that would feature Trump serving as a mediator and counselor for real people with financial disputes. For example, they could include spouses arguing over money, engaged couples at a crossroads over prenuptial agreements or parents concerned about their kids' spending habits.
