CBS has exchanged vows with "thirtysomething" creators Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick.

The network has given the green light to "A Marriage," a drama pilot from the Emmy-winning duo.

Produced by Herskovitz and Zwick's Bedford Falls, the project is described as a dissection of a marriage that works.

Herskovitz and Zwick penned the pilot, their first for a network other than ABC. Herskovitz is set to direct.

CAA-repped Herskovitz and Zwick most recently created the online series "quarterlife," which had a brief run on NBC and Bravo.
