SPC commits to 'Married'
September 18, 2007 Sony Pictures Classics has picked up domestic rights to Ira Sachs' Toronto International Film Festival entry "Married Life." The post-World War II drama from Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Firm Films follows a meek man (Chris Cooper) who falls for a beautiful, younger woman (Rachel McAdams). William Horberg, David Nicksay, Geoff Stier, Adam Shulman, Matt Littin, Alix Madigan-Yorkin and Bruce Toll served as executive producers.
