Morena, Telecinco dial up '211'

May 17, 2008 Morena Films and Telecinco Cinema have their follow-up to In Competition title "Che," entering a co-production pact with Vaca Films on Daniel Monzon's high-energy "Cell 211." Frances' La Fabrique 2 also is co-producing, with Galicia's regional Xunta government and broadcaster and AXN are also backing the project. The $5.4 million production stars Luis Tosar as the leader of a prison riot, with Alberto Ammann playing a young prison guard trapped in the revolt, who tries to pass a prisoner to survive on the inside.
