"Extreme Cuisine With Jeff Corwin" has received an eight-episode order from the Food Network for a fall launch. It will feature the self-described passionate foodie and anthropologist as he travels the world, meets with natives, samples exotic foods and learns about local customs. Additionally, Corwin has landed a special on MSNBC. His two-hour MSNBC special, "One Hundred Heartbeats," is based on his upcoming book and will spotlight species on the brink of extinction. It will air late this year as part of the network's four-part series "Future Earth." Corwin, whose credits include the Animal Planet series "The Jeff Corwin Experience" and "Corwin's Quest" as well as CNN's specials "Planet in Peril," is repped by WMA and 3 Arts.
