Paramount Vantage options 'Kip'

March 20, 2008 Paramount Vantage is bent on the vengeance comedy "Beat Kip," optioning the screenplay by Summer of Tears comedy troupe co-founders Todd Waldman and Rob Kerkovich and developing the feature with Comedy Central. "Kip" follows three struggling college graduates who find a purpose in life: to travel across the country to fight an Ivy League student who stole one of their girlfriends. The Los Angeles-based troupe's slacker humor won them the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival's jury prize last year for best sketch comedy.
