'5th Grader' gives Fox ratings win
January 25, 2008 "Smarter" averaged 10.3 million viewers and a 3.2 rating/9 share in adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m., according to preliminary data released Friday by Nielsen Media Research. Also at 8 p.m., ABC's "Ugly Betty" (8.9 million, 2.9/8) drew its lowest rating for an original episode outside of the Thanksgiving holiday. Neither of the last two original episodes of NBC's "Chuck" at 8 p.m. (6.9 million, 2.7/7) and 10 p.m. (7 million, 2.9/8) performed as well as the freshman series had recently been doing on in its regular slot at 8 p.m. Mondays.
