Fox picks Posey for 'Jezebel'
February 15, 2007 Parker Posey is venturing into series television as the star of "The Return of Jezebel James," Amy Sherman-Palladino's comedy pilot for Fox. Additionally, Matthew Lillard has been tapped to lead the ensemble in NBC's comedy pilot "Area 52," Anthony Anderson is set as one of the two leads in Fox's drama pilot "K-Ville," Katheryn Winnick will star in Fox's one-hour pilot "Nurses," and Christopher Sieber has landed a lead role on NBC's comedy pilot "Wildlife," lifting the contingency on the project. "Jezebel," from Regency TV and writer-director Sherman-Palladino, centers on a successful children's book editor (Parker) who is newly single and, after learning she won't be able to conceive, asks her estranged younger sister to carry her baby for her.
