Portion of proceeds to charity

May 8, 2008, 01:06 AM

Slap a badge for social consciousness on Warner Home Video. The supplier is releasing the documentary "Darfur Now" at a suggested list price of just $4.99 and turning over a portion of the proceeds to Solar Cooker Project for the protection and empowerment of women in war-ravaged Sudan. To top it off, the docu -- which follows six individuals who traverse the globe with actor Don Cheadle to drum up support for the victims of the war -- will come packaged in "environmentally friendly" packaging produced with 100% renewable resources.
