'Ice Age' hot atop DVD charts


November 30, 2006 The Meltdown debuted at No. 1 on both the national DVD sales and rental charts the week ending Nov. 26. Meanwhile, in rental stores, the film generated an estimated $10.3 million, for an easy first-place finish on Home Media Magazine's video rental chart for the week. Back in the First Alert top 20 are all four "Harry Potter" movies, riding hype over the theatrical release next July of the fifth film in the franchise, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," as well as a new video game based on that film.
