DVD counterfeiter sentenced to prison
August 19, 2008 A New Orleans man, Tanner Hill, has pled guilty to two counts of copyright infringement in U.S. District Court in Louisiana for selling counterfeit DVDs and CDs. Arrested in March by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison and ordered to pay a $3,000 fine.
