David Katz to head up SportsFanLive.com


August 18, 2008 Former CBS and Yahoo programming exec David Katz has resurfaced at the helm of his own Internet sports venture. Katz led the sports and entertainment division at Yahoo under Lloyd Braun, former head of the Internet giant's media group. SportsFanLive is financed by private investors who Katz declined to identify, but he noted they come from the "sports, media and advertising industries" as opposed to traditional venture-capital sources.
