NEW YORK -- AOL Television is thinking "Outside the Box."

The online arm of Time Warner Wednesday will launch a new free on-demand online series by that name, in which cast members of popular TV shows ask each other questions submitted by fans.

The first episode features Kate Walsh, Taye Diggs, Audra McDonald and Tim Daly from ABC's "Private Practice." Procter & Gamble is among the initial advertisers.

Episodes of "Outside the Box" will last no more than 10 minutes and include outtakes and viral clips. New episodes will come out periodically. Planned episodes will put the spotlight on "Desperate Housewives" (Felicity Huffman and Doug Savant), "Dirty Sexy Money" (Lucy Liu and Peter Krause), "Life on Mars" (Michael Imperioli and Jason O'Mara) and "Scrubs" (Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison).

" 'Outside the Box' signifies our ongoing commitment in providing consumers with the highest possible production quality while simultaneously providing fans with unparalled access to top talent," AOL Television senior vp Mike Rich said.

AOL Television had more than 14 million unique visitors, according to the latest comScore Media Metrix report.
