NEW YORK -- TBS Sports said Tuesday that it hired former ESPN analyst Harold Reynolds and Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley for Sunday's All-Star Game selection show.

Like last year, TBS will carry the selection show at 2 p.m. ET Sunday. Reynolds and Eckersley will be in the studio with host Ernie Johnson and analyst Cal Ripken, another Hall of Famer who joined TBS Sports in 2007. The hourlong telecast will announce the selections in both the National League and American League for the July 16 All-Star Game from Yankee Stadium, which Fox will televise.

Reynolds is familiar to viewers as the longtime analyst for ESPN's "Baseball Tonight." After leaving the network, he has worked at MLB.com and SportsNet New York. Eckersley is the studio analyst on the Red Sox regional sports network, NESN.

After the selection show, TBS will have the Chicago Cubs-St. Louis Cardinals game.
