TruTv picks up 'Man vs. Cartoon'
February 29, 2008 The former Court TV network has given a series pickup to the unscripted project, which investigates whether the stuff seen in cartoons is actually possible in real life. TruTV is ordering six hourlong episodes from Warner Horizon and Craig Piligian's Pilgrim Films & Television; the series will draw on characters and situations from Warner Bros.' vast animation library. TruTV executive vp and GM Marc Juris said the project offers a new take on the investigation process and will be a perfect fit with the network's schedule, whose tag line is Not Reality.
