'Newlyweds' headed down aisle again


August 26, 2008 ABC has renewed last season's reality success "Here Come the Newlyweds" for a second round. On the show, nine recently married couples compete for hundreds of thousands of dollars to jump-start their new lives together. Driven by a strong lead-in from "Oprah's Big Give," "Newlyweds" ranked No. 1 in its Sunday 10 p.m. period in total viewers (averaging 8.1 million) and adults 18-49 (3.3/9).
